Scheduling TMJ / TMD massage

I want you to be an active participant in your care. You will start this pattern at home before we even work together.

  • Enroll in one of my online video courses: My other business of Help Head Pain hosts two learn-at-your-own-pace video courses to get self-relief from the muscular side of your head, neck and jaw pain at home. There is a free video that you can try first. Sign up below or on HelpHeadPain.com. Use the coupon code “ katiemassage “ for $10 off.

The courses are $70 or $85. You must complete one of them to become a client at my table for TMJ work. When you enroll and start doing the work:

    • It will give you relief. I reference this course for your homework. I do not have the time to teach each new client 1:1 all the techniques and perpetuating factors you should adjust. I rely on the courses to do that and clarify the work when we are together.

    • When we work together it will go smoother and faster, saving you time and money.

    • You will get offered an appointment once I see that you have purchased a course. Still fill out the contact page and let me know that you would like a session and have purchased a course. You will get a booking link for an appointment with the understanding that you will complete the video course prior to the appointment.

  • Know: Services and rates can be found on this page. Know your initial session does have an additional fee of $15. Follow up work is charged at my base rate. Allow more time for the assessment on your first session. For a 60 minute session plan to be with me 90 minutes. For a 90 minute session plan to be with me for 2 hours.

  • To book: Send a message on this page after your purchase the course or if you have questions. Do not call. Be sure to check for a response in your junk folder and add email to safe sender list. Priority is given to those who completed the online course.

  • Optional: Part of active participation is you learning. YouTube, my blog page, Instagram, Facebook. Watch the video on this page: Headache / TMJ Disorder / Jaw Pain. It is set up to be a FAQ about my work.

dentists refer to massage therapy for jaw pain TMJD
I didn’t think massage could address the long history of ear issues and head pain I’ve had since I was a kid. She did what my ENT couldn’t! I saw Katie because I had shooting headache pain that wouldn’t go away. She found a tight neck muscle that was sending pain into my face and ears. She taught me how to stretch the muscle and stabilize my upper neck, both of which reduced my pain.

I had regular headaches, pain in my right jaw joint, and ringing in my ears. Katie quickly identified the muscles that were triggering the pain in my head and jaw. She showed me some simple self-massage exercises to do at home that alleviated the headaches, jaw pain and reduced the ringing in my ears. I even noticed my bite started evening out again.
