Products Katie Massage Recommends

Often times I have products I recommend for specific clients or issues. So I’ll collect them here for everyone. In full transparency, I might receive an affiliate payment when you purchase some of these items.

Jaw Related

My FAVORITE and most affordable jaw care product for my clients! I sell this in my office as well. Be sure to choose the hot & cold pack system. You can microwave the pack or put in the fridge or freezer. This company is GREAT! If the gel pack ever leaks, email them and they will mail you a replacement pack. LINK HERE

Facial cupping supplies - 2 items needed. My clients like this to relieve sinus pressure, soften the facia and muscles of the TMJ, and look a little younger afterwards. Use the rose hip oil first on the skin so the cups can have a better glide. Not sure how to use the supplies at home? Come in for a massage and I’ll walk you through it. This is a gentle cupping process and should leave no bruises!

GuaSha tool. I like the ones that have the comb on one side. You use that side to gently scrape all over the scalp so blood comes to the cranial fascia and muscles. This is great for temporalis.

Mouth tape. Paper surgical tape is more affordable than fancier mouth tapes on the market. Here is a one roll and 6 role option.

Tongue Scraper. This is good to both clean the tongue and stimulate the nerves and lymph flow of the tongue. Great to use before your myofunctional therapy exercises.

Foot Related

These toe separators are meant for you to wear while walking barefoot. Slowly build up your tolerance to wearing them.

The below toe spreaders are NOT to wear when walking. This can also be good to wear in the bath since the warmth will relax the muscles. When wearing them you can do toe curls and extensions to activate the feet more.

Other items

This is the magnesium oil I use in my practice. I’ve tried other brands and found those itchy. No complaints about this one. Magnesium can absorb through the skin and bypasses the digestive system this way. This is a perfect item for pregnant women getting leg cramps at night.

When the above magnesium oil was out of stock I found the below one. It doesn’t itch either but does have a slightly more oily feel when applied. So just give it time to soak in. (click image for product)

A good air filter running 27/7 in your bedroom can help you breathe better through your nose. Get those allergens out of the air!

Microwave neck wrap. This one will also cover the upper traps. You can also put it in the freezer if you need it cold. I own it and it is a complete upgrade to the tube microwave wrap that doesn’t stay in place. Pro tip: wear it as you get in your cold car in the winter.

I own the older version of this shoulder massager for myself. To answer a common client question - No, never use a Theragun on the neck!

Foam roller. Go ahead and get the 36” one so you don’t own two down the road! The long size is necessary for chest opening stretches - my favorite lazy woman stretch!

I’m often asked what supportive joint supplement I use. This one has glucosamine, chondroitin, tumeric, and MSM. As a massage therapist it is not within my scope of practice to recommend any supplements, so talk to your primary doctor.

Fog Away. I use this on my face shield to prevent it from fogging up. I have also been applying it to my client’s glasses and it seems to be working great!

Two foot stool options. When sitting at your desk your feet should be in contact with the ground, that way you can lift up through the spine with ease. Check out the “multiple uses” images with the first foot rest. Could be great for under the thigh support when reading in bed.

Box of N 95 masks. A client asked for the style I was currently using.

Help with your pelvic floor?

I support a lot of women and many have had pelvic floor issues during, after, or without a pregnancy. The Vagina Whisperer has many online courses to help through pregnancy, postpartum and strengthening the pelvic floor. Sarah Reardon is a physical therapist and pelvic health specialist. In the one course of hers I’ve taken the modules build on each other to make your goal achievable.
